LD_LIBRARY_PATH is for runtime (although I believe the linker also looks
at it)... It's also for directories, not files. You need to pass a -l
and possibly -L option to gcc when linking, something like:
gcc -L/home/usr/gecko/lib -lxpcomglue ...your current options...
