Yeah, it seems to me there were a bunch of potential general complications. Apparently, implementors for other mappings chose to focus on the 99.9% solution :)

I'm still bitter about the capitalization of QueryInterface, though!


As I recall things, I didn't really care and you (who did care) never coughed up a patch back when making such a change was doable. I'm sure I made more substantial errors for you to be bitter about :)
