If I install some DOMMutation event say "DOMNodeInserted" on a document node and if I do not remove the listener till that document gets automatically destroyed
Which might never happen if your listener is keeping the document alive.
(when the page unload or when I load some other page in the browser)
This doesn't destroy the document object, for what it's worth.
then will it result into any leaks or any problems?
Depends on the exact listener.
Won't the Mozilla itself take care of calling removeEventListener on that node when that document node gets destroyed?
When it actually gets destroyed, yes. -Boris _______________________________________________ dev-tech-xpcom mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-tech-xpcom
