Because the gecko-sdk header is a package you don't own; containing frozen headers. If you stick something else in there, you're violating the seal and spirit of the directory and confusing yourself and any unfortunate enough to look into it. > Any suggestions where to put? Any directory of your choice so long as it isn't that one. UNFROZEN_GECKO_1_8_HEADERS/ would be a perfectly acceptable directory name, however you probably wouldn't choose to use that case.
