Desktop Runtimers!
Here's the latest on the STATUS of the project, the MOST IMPORTANT THING
you can do to help, the SECOND MOST IMPORTANT THING you can do, and a
couple of NOTES of interest!
STATUS
We fixed some bugs and made progress on others over the last week, but
(as of a few minutes ago) we still have eleven blockers for the first
version of the feature in Firefox 15:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?order=Assignee;resolution=---;status_whiteboard_type=allwordssubstr;status_whiteboard=%5Bblocking-webrtdesktop1%2B%5D
MOST IMPORTANT THING
Most of these remain unowned, which makes the feature AT RISK for
Firefox 15. Thus the MOST IMPORTANT THING you can do for the project is
to help resolve these issues by the merge date on June 5!
SECOND MOST IMPORTANT THING
And the SECOND MOST IMPORTANT THING you can do is help resolve the
non-blocking bugs we have identified as P1, P2, and P3 priorities for
the Firefox 15 release:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?priority=P1;priority=P2;priority=P3;order=Importance;resolution=---;bug_status=NEW;bug_status=ASSIGNED;bug_status=REOPENED;component=Webapp%20Runtime;component=Web%20Apps;product=Firefox;target_milestone=Firefox%2015
NOTES
Last week we moved the Web Apps / Desktop Runtime Bugzilla component to
Firefox / Webapp Runtime. The three components related to the Desktop
Runtime are now:
* Core / DOM: Mozilla Extensions - navigator.mozApps DOM API
* Firefox / Web Apps - webapp installers for Windows and Mac
* Firefox / Webapp Runtime - stub executable, shell
Want numbers? Want 'em graphed? Check out the Apps Status page for handy
