Thrift 0.9.1

Should we be updating to Thrift-0.9.1 before 1.6.0?
Looks like https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/THRIFT-1869 has the 
potential to affect us, although it is possible for us to bypass the 
issue by providing our own ExecutorService.
