I neglected to put this in the description adequately, but this fixes
numerous bugs/inconsistencies that the original multiple-tservers change
brought in. After these changes, I've had consistencies with single tserver
functionality (as prior to 1.8.0) and log/out/err files are consistently named
when multiple tservers are present.
Will put up on the little cluster I was using for testing over the to make
sure SSH'ing around doesn't break anything.
