Hi Accumulo Devs, I've been experimenting with a GitHub Kanban board for Accumulo to see how we might leverage GitHub's custom issue fields, such as Priority:
https://github.com/orgs/apache/projects/688 A few quick details: - Current Limitation: Custom issue fields cannot be applied to PRs, so we can't set priorities on PRs directly, though this seems like a minor issue. - Access Control: The accumulo-committers team has Admin privileges, so any committer can make changes. - Board Views/Settings: The first five views use GitHub's basic Kanban template. Since this is a shared board, please duplicate an existing view or create a new one to customize it, rather than modifying the default shared views without prior discussion. - Visibility: The board is currently private due to INFRA-28481, but I can make it public as soon as that is fixed, so that contributors who aren't committers can see it. In the meantime, we can add contributors directly with Read permission. This is just an informal experiment to help manage the backlog. If it's not useful, nobody has to use it. I'm just letting you know it's there. Regards, Christopher
