Thanks for the suggestion! I tried that though and it doesn't work for me on OS X :( Am wondering if its maybe an OS X thing? Can anyone else build trunk to get a binary distro (or use a very recent nightly distro), edit the activemq/conf/log4j.properties to, say, turn on debug logging - then run bin/activemq and actually get debug logging?
