Consider the naming convention of the following ZIP files of related Apache
projects:
-- apache-cxf-2.4.1.zip
-- apache-cxf-2.4.1-src.zip
-- apache-servicemix-4.3.0.zip
-- apache-servicemix-4.3.0-src.zip
-- apache-camel-2.7.2.zip
-- apache-camel-2.7.2-src.zip
Now check out Apache ActiveMQ naming of the same type of software distributions:
-- apache-activemq-5.5.0-bin.zip
-- activemq-parent-5.5.0-source-release.zip
Wouldn't there be value in naming the distributions in the same filename format
as Apache CXF, ServiceMix and Camel distributions?
That is:
-- apache-activemq-5.5.0.zip
-- apache-activemq-5.5.0-src.zip
