Darius Schier commented on AMQ-3586:
------------------------------------
We created the destination's names with the standard activemq web console. It
still seems to be possible (5.5.0).
I even got to manage it that the identical message was sent to '123' and '123
', although I addressed only one of them (also through the web console).

> Project: ActiveMQ
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 5.5.0
> Environment: linux
> Reporter: Darius Schier
> Priority: Minor
>
> Creating a queue that's name contains trailing blanks leads to several
> problems.
> Try the following within amq web console to reproduce:
> - create a queue with name '123 ' (without quotes)
> - create a second queue with name '123 ' (without quotes)
> - send a message to one of them
> --> amq creates a third queue, all three of them seem to have the same name
> within the browser, at jmx-level you see that there are three (with spaces)
> --> Number of Pending messages is 1 for the queue I've send the message and 0
> for the other two
> --> if you click on the queue name within the amq browser, you see the same
> message within all three queues
> --> adding a consumer to one queue adds the same consumer to all of them
