Deepak commented on AMQ-4693:
-----------------------------

I agree that this may be a significant work to implement. However since several
people have expressed interest in this feature and the benefits of adding this
feature would also be significantly high, can we atleast get a rough timeline
on when ActiveMQ experts/developers may start looking at this? I think this
feature would take ActiveMQ's usage in the industry to the next level and make
it useful in a bunch of scenarios where it currently cannot be used due to lack
of strong security mechanisms.

Since this was/is originally marked for ActiveMQ-5.10 release, can we still
assume that this will be available in ActiveMQ-5.10? Are you implying that this
feature will not be available in ActiveMQ-5.10 at all?

Getting some clarity on timeline would atleast help a lot of people to make
proper choice of message queue implementation that they want to use in their
projects.

Many Thanks!
