I would like to see this feature implemented as well but for now my project has
worked around it by using Virtual Destinations to share subscriptions.
ActiveMQ Artemis (the proposed name for the HornetQ donation) already supports
JMS 2.0 so if Artemis becomes ActiveMQ 6 at some point in the future then
ActiveMQ will get JMS 2.0 support at that point.
Can someone from the PMC comment on whether or not there are any plans to add
JMS 2.0 support to the 5.x broker? I'm assuming the answer is no since the
current focus seems to be on getting Artemis to be the next generation of
ActiveMQ.
