Hi ActiveMQ 6.0.1 has been released (https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/activemq/apache-activemq/6.0.1/). I'm working on website update and announcement right now.
However, 6.0.1 has the same JMS 3.x support as 6.0.0. We plan to have new features implemented in 6.1.0.
