How about we request a new mailing list [email protected] and have all these comments go there? It will be preferred for all PMC to subscribe to it, and it will save the dev list for discussions. The downside is, when we do brainstorming discussions, we expect that to be done in JIRA because the comments to dev list. So there is a chance they can overlooked in the issues mailing list.
