Dear mentor

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Aditi Mehta, and I am a
second-year B.Tech Information Technology student at Indira Gandhi Delhi
Technical University for Women (IGDTUW). I am writing to express my keen
interest in contributing to the *"Streamline Grouping and Filtering in the
Experiment Browser UI"* project as part of GSoC 2025.

With a strong foundation in *web development, UI/UX design, and data
visualization*, I am excited about the opportunity to enhance the
researcher-focused dashboard within the Django portal. My skills in *React.js,
Java, Python, and SQL* make me well-equipped to contribute to improving
experiment tracking and visualization.
*My Technical Experience & Relevant Projects:*

   - *E-Commerce Platform (MERN Stack)* – Developed a feature-rich
e-commerce website integrating *Stripe for payments* and optimized UI/UX
   for seamless user experience.
   - *MCF-OmniFlux (AI-driven fulfillment system)* – Designed and
implemented *geospatial data visualization* and PostgreSQL-based
optimizations, making it to the *top 137 out of 100,000+ teams in Amazon
   Sambhav Hackathon*.
   - *ARIOSE – Credit Card Fraud Detection (ML + Blockchain)* – A hackathon
finalist project integrating *secure ML-based fraud detection* using
   blockchain for auditability.
   - *NLP-Based Disaster Tweet Classification* – Built a classifier using *SVM,
Naïve Bayes, and NLTK* to detect emergency-related tweets for disaster
   response.

Apart from technical expertise, I have actively contributed as a *Mentor at
Google Developer Groups – IGDTUW*, guiding over *150+ students* in DSA and
Competitive Programming. Additionally, as a *Microsoft Learn Student
Ambassador*, I have conducted multiple technical workshops.
*Why This Project?*

I am particularly drawn to this project because it aligns with my interests
in *UI/UX improvements, and Django-based application development*.
Enhancing the Experiment Browser UI by introducing *grouping, filtering,
and customizable dashboards* will provide researchers with a more efficient
way to track and analyze past experiments.

I am eager to collaborate with the community, learn from experienced
mentors, and contribute meaningfully to this initiative. Please let me know
how I can get involved further or if there are any prerequisite
contributions I should focus on. Looking forward to your guidance and
feedback.

Best regards,
*Aditi Mehta*
