Dear Airflow Community,

The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Airflow has invited *Amogh
Desai *to become a PMC member and we are excited to announce that he has
accepted our invitation.

Amogh has been a committer for the past 1.5 years and has made significant
contributions to the project, most notably through his work on AIP-72
alongside Ash and me, which was central to the Airflow 3 release. Beyond
code, Amogh has been instrumental in maintaining a healthy CI, and has been
an active member of the Airflow Security Group by fixing various CVEs.

He has been actively spreading the Airflow word at the Airflow Summit
<https://airflowsummit.org/speakers/amogh-desai/> and various other
venues (Airflow
Bangalore meetup

, podcast

I am confident that he will continue to be a strong ambassador for the
project with his new PMC hat on.

For those unfamiliar, PMC members help manage and guide the overall
direction of the project.

Please join us in congratulating Amogh and welcome aboard Amogh!

Best regards,
Kaxil
On behalf of the Apache Airflow PMC
