# feat: implement centralized semantic token system
## Overview
This PR introduces a comprehensive centralized semantic token system to
replace hardcoded colors throughout the Airflow UI. The refactor provides
consistent theming across the application with automatic light/dark mode
switching.
## Changes Made
### 🎨 Centralized Semantic Tokens
- **Enhanced `theme.ts`** with structured semantic tokens for:
- Task states (`success`, `failed`, `running`, `queued`, `skipped`, etc.)
- UI components (`brand`, `danger`, `info`, `warning`, `error`)
- Calendar views (`calendar.empty`, `calendar.planned`,
`calendar.totalRuns`, etc.)
- App-specific tokens (`app.dagGraph`, `app.calendar`, etc.)

- **Gantt chart** - Updated to use semantic tokens for task state colors
- **Calendar components** - Enhanced with proper semantic token integration
- **ReactFlow theming** - Improved with automatic light/dark mode handling
