I think a sane process for deciding meet-ups is to go in order off this list : https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/AIRFLOW/Meetups in a first-come, first-serve basis. Sadly, the list is empty :-)
I'll let CWIKI concurrency resolution algo decide - that's fair. Now, I could propose that WePay host in mid-November if they so choose and that Alex be a guest speaker, which would give 2 talks on GCP, but hey, I like the first-come, first-serve approach better.
