Hi All,

Fokko and I are picking up the release management role for the 1.10 release.
The aim of this release is to make sure we are, from the perspective of a
release, graduation ready. So license compliancy is paramount and proper
publishing of security vulnerabilities. It should also be our last “1.X”
release, before we move on to a, in some areas, backwards incompatible 2.X
release.

For licensing the following is open:

* AIRFLOW-2287 - Missing and incorrect license headers

Additionally (came back from IPMC):

* AIRFLOW-2288 - Source tarball should not extract to root
* AIRFLOW-2289 - Add additional quick start to INSTALL
* AIRFLOW-2290 - Include CVE references in changelog

Particularly AIRFLOW-2287 probably will have some impact on PRs that are out
now, as it will change quite a lot of files. If the above are included we will
create a “1.10.0-test” branch. So hopefully soon if anyone wants to pick up
some of the above tickets.

O, and what do you think of a kind of mantra for this release? I propose "What
we do today creates tomorrow”. I am sure you can do better :).

Cheers
Bolke
