I think we now only get them once, rather than once from gitbox, and once again form gitbox sending them to Jira :/
On https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-16854 it was said we require github notifications to go a list (even though we didn't have them before. Guess policies change, eh?), and using notifications@ is a common pattern other projects use. We need one of our Apache mentors to create us notificati...@airflow.incubator.apache.org via http://selfserve.apache.org/ then we can get the github comments etc redirected there.
