Hrm, I am not sure exactly. I normally use it with docker during development.
Maybe the error "cannot open '/var/solr/logs/solr.log' for reading: No such file
or directory" is preventing solr from running?
Or if you are sure solr is running ("ps -efww | grep solr" will normally show a
java process) then maybe the IP address or port number is different than what
Allura expects? You can change the "solr.server" setting in development.ini to
the right value
