Hi [~jluniya], do you really insist on adding those checks ? These lines are
based on the patch committed to trunk 3 weeks ago as part of
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-13442 and the changes you propose
now were not proposed then. The way I see it, these lines add a few metadata
entries, do not cause any performance impact and should not cause any issues if
the services are not part of the stack. In fact, it might not even be possible
to learn which services are actually available in this place in code and making
the relevant data available might cause more widespread changes.
