In general, HDFS (hdfs://) is only of the many protocols that are valid for AMS
usage. WASB:// is also an HCFS (hadoop compatible FS) which supports most if
not all hadoop commands. So AMS scripts should create the hbase root dir etc in
the same way as for HDFS.
