Rajendra Patil commented on AMBARI-13689: ----------------------------------------- So [~PankajSingh], what's the proposal here? Are you suggesting to validate, check and prevent the instance creation if the same named one already exists? I would personally prefer to check and prevent duplicate instances with same display name (or whatever the identifier we use). Let me know if you have any other proposal here. Thanks, Rajendra > Pig View - Creating multiple pig view instance with same display name adds > overhead in locating the correct one > --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: AMBARI-13689 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-13689 > Project: Ambari > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: ambari-views > Affects Versions: 2.2.0 > Reporter: Pankaj Singh > Priority: Critical > Attachments: screenshot-1.png > > > The Problem is - > When multiple users accessing pig view creates instance with same same > display name.
