Executed the queries in hive view editor in the following order:
set hive.execution.engine=tez;
create table testtable61 (PersonID int, NameForSearch varchar(255), Name2
varchar(255));
set hive.execution.engine=tez;
create table testtable62 (PersonID int, NameForSearch varchar(255), Name2
varchar(255));
set hive.execution.engine=tez;
INSERT INTO TABLE testtable61 values('name','name0','secondname0');
set hive.execution.engine=tez;
INSERT INTO TABLE testtable61 values(1,'name1','secondname1');
set hive.execution.engine=tez;
INSERT INTO TABLE testtable61 values(2,'name2','secondname2');
set hive.execution.engine=tez;
SELECT * FROM testtable61;
returns the three rows but the value 1 in columns1 shows as null. please see
the screenshot attached
For incorrect values being inserted, the expected value in the cell was empty
and not null. please help take a look.
