http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=23414 using zip task on windows makes shell script unusable in linux Summary: using zip task on windows makes shell script unusable in linux Product: Ant Version: 1.5.4 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Core tasks AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Here is the scenario. I have a shell script that I am packaging with our distribution. I am using the ant zip task to zip up the distribution. After I have uploaded and unzipped the distribution, I attempt to execute the shell script on the linux box, and I get errors telling me that the commands I am specifying cannot be found. If I zip the distribution using winzip, the shell script executes properly. This leads me to believe that either I am not invoking the zip task properly (encoding??), or there is something wrong with the zip task. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
