Params are passed "as-is". No dependency checking here.
Dependency checking is done in <xslt> for:
- sourcefile (in, basedir, includes, ...)
- stylesheet (style)

What you can do is - check the dependency for yourself with <uptodate>
- pass the filename if dependency is ok: <param ... if=""/>

Or
- check the dependency for yourself with <uptodate>

You can also use <dependset> to delete the result file.
Peter

- delete the result file before transformation (conditional target,
AntContrib if)

Subject: xslt param - file dependancy

hi, i'm using xmlt param tag (expression field) to pass a file name to transformation engine. unfortunately if the file is changed ant doesn't recognize it.

do i have any option to get xslt-param-espression dependacy working?

or could someone give a patch for it?
