http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=26083 Problems with zipgroupfileset Summary: Problems with zipgroupfileset Product: Ant Version: 1.6.0 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Core tasks AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Working with Ant 1.6.0, there are several problems with creating JAR using zipgroupfileset. Problem #1: filesetmanifest="merge" does not work on some jars. The specific error message is: Manifest is invalid: The attribute "Depends-On" may not occur more than once in the same section Problem #2: When adding signed jars, the result is invalid. Specifically, when adding SUN's mail.jar or activation.jar, I get the following error message (when trying to use the jar): D:\Development\infrastructure\dev\dist>java -classpath devtools.jar;all-3rd- party.jar ... Exception in thread "main" java.lang.SecurityException: no manifiest section for signature file entry javax/activation/D ataContentHandlerFactory.class at sun.security.util.SignatureFileVerifier.verifySection (SignatureFileVerifier.java:260) at sun.security.util.SignatureFileVerifier.process (SignatureFileVerifier.java:172) at java.util.jar.JarVerifier.processEntry(JarVerifier.java:239) at java.util.jar.JarVerifier.update(JarVerifier.java:194) ... Problem #3: There is no way to skip the entire manifiest. Specifically, if I take the jar, and delete all files under META-INF, it will work just fine. However, there is no way to do that. Adding Problem #4: duplicate="preserve" gives warnings to screen. I cannot ask it not to give these warnings. The XML fragment for the jar is: <jar destfile="${infra.dist}/all-3rd-party.jar" duplicate="preserve" filesetmanifest="skip"> <zipgroupfileset dir="${infra.libs}"> <include name="**/*.jar"/> <exclude name="javamail/mail.jar"/> <exclude name="activation/activation.jar"/> </zipgroupfileset> </jar> thanks, Doron. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
