http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=28340 Request Trim Attribute on Property Task ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-04-12 18:21 ------- Somehow I think cases will crop up where <trim/> with <loadproperties/> will not be equivalent to trim="true" on <property>, because <trim/> operates on the lines of the .properties file, whereas trim="true" would operate on the value after parsing of the file. Consider: key = value___\ ____ Where the underscores are spaces. The value will be 'value ' (AFAIK), and the <trim/> would yield a different result than trim="true". The properties file line continuation \ trumps <trim/> basically I think, but I guess I could be wrong. --DD --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
