http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=39445 Summary: Documentation suggestion for filter man page Product: Ant Version: 1.6.5 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: trivial Priority: P5 Component: Documentation AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The filter man page - http://ant.apache.org/manual/CoreTasks/filter.html Does NOT make mention of the fact the process can corrupt binary files. The only place I see that warning is here: http://ant.apache.org/manual/using.html "Warning: If you copy binary files with filtering turned on, you can corrupt the files. This feature should be used with text files only." I would like to see a similar warning message added to the filter man page. It sure would have saved me a lot of time trying to figure out where/how my keystores were being corrupted. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
