loadproperties already can.
With
y=${x}
and
<loadproperties ... prefix="foo"/>
you get
foo.y=${foo.x}
and with
<loadproperties>
<filterchain>
<prefixlines prefix="foo."/>
</filterchain>
</loadproperties>
you get
foo.y=${x}
It is <property>'s behavior that doesn't provide the same control and
where we have had changes between the past three Ant releases.
