First step for this is to merge ExtractorFactory and ExtractorPlugin, but
removing the static factory fields and converting them to META-INF/services
loaded factory classes.
This requires a bump to a new version, at this stage that will be
0.8.0-SNAPSHOT, as it is a significant change in the API.
