Thanks for checking in Hans. I am the same. Although we use Any23, my time to 
develop is not as much right now. That is OK though because it is the project 
community that counts the most.
Any23 fills a valuable void within the Java ecosystem similar to that which 
Tika does.
If the project community is still alive then so is the codebase :)
