Agree, this is about forward compatibility. It will definitely be inconvenient
to many users, ( Including me ). To make use of new changes/bug fixes in
Apex(core/malhar), I have used the higher version of Apex than the gateway
version. From a pure Apex standpoint this is not an issue, but for users who
have DT RTS, they have to wait until a new RTS released and they have to
upgrade gateway to use the bug fixes and new features even for their internal
development.
