I don't think there are existing Kafka 0.8 examples (exactly-once uses Kafka
amongst other things, but they are a separate category "exactly- once")? I
would not spend time creating any new examples for 0.8 either, given that the
mainstream Kafka version is 0.9 and 0.10 is already out. I'm also not sure I
would want to maintain examples for every version (it not just about adding).
I think this is a topic that can be taken up when there is a solid reason for
it.
