I was writing a custom cell function for hours. I started with that yesterday a little, just making a short test to begin with. Today I edited it to be ”the real thing” and I added a lot of explaining comments to it, since I wrote it for someone else who I think don't know much about BASIC macros.
So I finally made it and I tested it on the spreadsheet in which I created the cell function. It worked fine and I was very happy, of course. So I closed the BASIC window and then I closed and saved the spreadsheet. When I opened it again, the cell function was GONE! All there was, was what it looked like this morning, that is my simple first test. How could this have happened? I know that I saved the spreadsheet, because every cell I edited AFTER I finished the macro was intact. Only the macro itself went back to a VERY early version. How could this have happened and is there a way to get it back some how?
