another computer has to be started somehow but after that is done, I can
establish the connection and use it how I want to?
Sure. Only that your mention of "another computer" somehow made me
assume that you are unable to address the fundamentalrc of an OOo
installation on that second computer from the first one. But in the
case of shared file systems this of course need not be true.
