Because you aren't using autocheckout in Subversion. That means httpd-2.0 httpd-2.0 &apr-httpd-2.0 apr-httpd-2.0 -d src/lib/apr apr appearing in the CVSROOT/modules file, which causes apr to be automatically checked-out during a checkout of httpd-2.0. It only works if everyone who can checkout httpd can also checkout apr. ....Roy
