apr_socket_recv returns APR_EOF immediately!!!

no! i was connecting in telnet ports.
i mean, i was trying to read the telnet server reply using apr.
but it didnt work.

i am using linux (debian).

every time i call apr_connect, i test its return value.
apr_connect always returns APR_SUCCESS.
