In this way is very hard to use apr for a new user.
I agree that the documentation in the 0.9.4 release leaves quite a bit to be desired. I too have just picked up APR to see if it can be used in a project I am working on. However on the net I found a much better set of documentation than what is linked to on the APR homepage.
