I have a config problem that I've ignored before but still bites.
With Berkeley DB installed "out of the box" at /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.2
(where the sleepycat installer put it), apr-util's configure
can't find it using
./configure .... --with-dbm=db42 \
--with-berkeley-db=/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.2
