?? Of course it will require corresponding apr.hw and apr.hnw changes,
but those should be simple.
I just reviewed and buy into that patch, the '[un]signed char' definitions
should be appropriate for apr.hw and apr.hnw flavors.
Any additional eyeballs before I commit? At least one, please?
