Issue 4311 is the particular issue that I am worried about being in
the field for any length of time.
If a user changes the z order of Figs and then saves a project then
that project can't be guaranteed to reload.
So I would like to see a new alpha asap.

When is a good time for the next release? I prefer Friday or Sunday because
of my personal arrangements. I think Bob thought it was a pressing matter
which would suggest Friday.
Another note related to this, I am away from home this week and I wanted to
bring my firewall/gateway/dhcp-gear with me to connect from here. Alas, I
couldn't get the Linux host to get the correct network settings without the
firewall/gateway-dhcp-gear so I shut it off. This means that there will be
no nightly builds while I am away. I will be back Thursday or Friday evening
to start it again.
