At July 4, 2005, there was some suggestions to start using Maven in
the ArgoUML build process, and this was debated on this list[1].
Ludovic Maitre was working on it, but he didn't convinced some people
about this.
Anyway, he started to work on this in some argouml subprojects and dependencies.
I have seen that at June, 2006, he stopped editing his wiki [2] on this matter.

In the discussion above, Tom Morris said:
Another thing to consider, which I just noticed when visiting the Maven site
today, is that the Maven folks are apparently in the middle of a complete
rewrite which will be incompatible with the existing Maven 1.x. That may
influence the timing of when is best to move to Maven.

I think that this would be a good moment to move to Maven2.

I'm not going to say all the advantages Maven2 can bring to the
ArgoUML project and subprojects, because this was said on that
discussion.

I have a little experience with Maven2 -I'm sure more people on this
list have it too- and I think I could contribute on this to the
ArgoUML project -any help would be appreciated, of course-.

After saying that, I do this questions:
Is Ludovic working on it?
Is any work done already?
What do you think about this?

I'll be waiting for your answers. Thanks.
