Hello Andreas!
There has been CD:s created. One was supplied with some book (I don't
remember which one now but I think it is listed among the publications with
reference to ArgoUML). I don't think these CDs were with OS and GUI though.
The old argouml-install project is a project for developing a distribution
with Install Anywhere. I assume that it could be put on a CD. The
project seems to contain data for the 0.14.1 version so it is rather old.
I think the argoumlinstaller project was such a project too but I have taken
it over for a generalized approach on distributions separating the scripts
that do the building of the distributions from the distributions themselves
(published in the argouml-downloads project).
A CD with OS and GUI is also interesting but for another audience as you
describe it. Perhaps we should approach the people behind the javacd and
convince them to include ArgoUML or create our own. Perhaps a Tigris LiveCD
since Tigris is devoted to software development.

Hi!
I currently work on a project, where a livecd (bootable CD, that comes
with
it's own OS and GUI) is an essential part of the project.
I'm wondering, if a ArgoUML livecd exists? I've heard about a Java livecd,
but it seems, that Argo is not included on it?
Do you think, it makes sense to create one? Might be handy, if someone is
supposed to give Argo a try without any installation. A demo, that could
be given away on conferences etc.
Ciao,
Andreas
