Hello all!
I had planned the first beta release for today. I notice that there are
several P1 and P2 issues still open so the first beta release will be
deferred. Since there are also P1 issues, I cannot make another alpha
release today either so I will not do any release today.
The disturbing thing is that the amount of issues is not reduced as
previously mentioned on the dev mailing list. I still have no solution to
this. We need to get these issues solved to be able to put out the 0.26
release with dignity so forcing the beta period or the 0.26 release I don't
think is a good idea.
Please all have another look at all the P1 and P2 issues and try your best
at helping. Why not create unit tests that causes these problems?
I will adjust the release plan. With this delay, we will get the Tigris
upgrade in the beta period so I will make sure there is a beta release
scheduled after the Tigris upgrade to rule out any problems caused by that.
There shouldn't be any but you never know.
