To me, a suitable solution would be to give Bogdan commit access to the trunk - I'm guessing we trust him! If he is not comfortable doing the merge himself, then he could temporarily provide his username/password for Luis to do the merge under Bogdan's login. Once the work is committed, Bogdan might need to make further fixes/changes, and he'll need trunk commit access for that. There really seems no reason to not allow Bogdan trunk commit access. I don't have a lot of experience with SVN, but from what I know, I would say that accessing the repository database and modifying a revision retrospectively is a risky business, and worth avoiding unless absolutely necessary.
