I've been using Eclipse 3.4.1 on both Ubuntu and Windows Vista for a
while without any problems.

Do you get any errors?  What errors?  There's really not enough
information to tell what's going on.

I think that's fine as a recommendation if it bundles more of what's
needed, but we should be able to work with other bundles without
forcing the developer to download an entire new bundle.  They key to
this is knowing what plugins are dependencies.  Hopefully the error
message will give a clue as to which one(s) are missing.
