I've update Linus's suggestions for UML2 with the item "Build property
panels for UML2 elements". You may have noticed that I've adapted the
XML panels module recently so that it now switches to an alternate XML
file to build the panels. The work won't be as simple as just editing
that XML, I'm sure there'll be plenty to do to get the controls to
operate for both UML1.4 and UML2.x.

I think this work is very important. We could release a version of
ArgoUML with support for only a limited number of UML2 diagrams but to
do so we still need to be able to handle all the non-graphical
elements that may be in an XMI file provided by some other tool.

I've also added a complete project suggestion of my own -
http://argouml.tigris.org/wiki/Ideas_for_GSoC_2010#head-ac01ae73d64fa48b2d48a627b74f4f56e05403e1

The flyweight pattern for notations is something I pushed for at the
time and have regretted ever since. The notation subsystem should
require no other subsystem than the model interface so I think its a
great candidate to take the subsystem into a physically separate
module.

Do we have any other mentor interest?

Bob.
